Super-Midsize jets have many of the traits common to larger "heavy jets" with pricing closer to that of the midsize range. They seat 8-9 people in greater comfort so they will feel roomier when filled to capacity. Cabin ceilings are typically at or just under 6 feet. This is a versatile category of aircraft, and you will find numerous amenities common to larger jets including a galley, satellite phone, Wi-Fi and entertainment system.

Conditions permitting, the high-speed characteristics of this jet enable the Citation X to complete a typical North American trans-continental flight up to an hour faster than others in its class. Inside, the cabin of the Citation X and the newer Citation Sovereign are actually very similar with a twin double-club seating arrangement.

The Citation X+, is an upgrade to the Citation X. Changes include a new technology flight deck, new engines that produce even more power but consume less fuel, a 15 inch cabin extension, increased Maximum Takeoff Weight and aerodynamic winglets to improve flying performance.
